FOREIGN AFFAIRS
seven short comedies of global proportions
by Rich Orloff
directed by Holli Harms
co-produced at the WorkShop Theater Mainstage in New York City
January 2005
with Richard Kent Green, Gary Mink, Laurie Ann Orr,
Gerrianne Raphael, Kim Reed, Greg Skura & Baz Snider
The Foolish Theatre Company teamed up with the WorkShop Theater Company in early 2005 for our second production, FOREIGN AFFAIRS. These seven irreverent comedies about sex, religion and politics travel the globe, from a timid bureaucrat dealing with the fall of the Berlin Wall and a Pope who discovers he’s accidentally married... to a kinky tryst in Buenos Aires and a penguin giving marital advice in Antarctica.
“A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Funny lines, playful gags, and a few surprises.”

“Bright, zany comedies! Audiences will find a good dose of humor to make the world seem slightly friendlier.”
American Theatre Web
“It's laughter from the heart. Rich Orloff is one of the few American authors who understands European politics."
